Note: my first self-portrait in 2 weeks; put my 365 Project on a brief hiatus. With the way this year is shaping up to be, making time will prove difficult. I recall a time where I used to create self-portraits on a daily basis. Self-portraits are the surest representation of loneliness and solitude - luxuries which I have been denied of as of late. See, I live upstate and in the Bronx; the X is where I am most busy partaking in actual real-world endeavours and Upstate is where I retreat and cultivate time to document it all on the web. However, I never want to lose sight of my sense of documenting, ever.

Note: I did a bit of cheating with this one. Let me explain: while I did shoot this yesterday, it was rushed, unplanned and consequently, yielded undesirable, so I redid it today. I do plan to share the original photo much later.

Began with photographing this piece, designed by my father back in the 90s. Simple piece, yet fun, especially with the amazing colour and great detail in the embroidery. Another exciting element of it is, there is no label on the inside designating the front from the back, so it’s just entirely freeing to just throw on the garment whatever way you please. Y’know?
